![]() ![]() Today, the university network dropped out on us unexpectedly, while my connectify hotspot was on. i've got the lifetime license to connectify, i think, so i've been using it without many issues for years. ![]() so what i normally do is i connect through my computer, then use connectify to generate a hotspot that only requires a password to connect, and connect all my devices to that hotspot. because it requires a username/password combo to connect, that means i can't connect directly through many of my devices such as streaming sticks, gaming consoles, speakers, etc. i live in a university dorm, and use the university network for internet access. Before i say anything: i am very, very not networking savvy (which is why connectify has been my savior for years, it's usually easy to use) so please bear that in mind before replying.
